(Module 9, b)
A balanced diet is one of the pillars of good health. When combined with exercise and rest, it keeps a person healthy and happy. However, the definition of a "balanced diet" differs from group to group. Before, they recommended a diet high in carbohydrates and low in fat, with some fruits and vegetables, dairy, and meat; it was made popular by the creation of the famous food pyramid.
This thing.
Recently, more and more people are advocating a different kind of diet: one consisting mostly of organic produce and foods with healthy fats, such as nuts, fish, and chicken. They shun processed foods - that is, those containing artificial flavorings and colors, preservatives, and most vegetable oils - and only ingest dairy occasionally.
It is true that there are some rules set in stone when it comes to nutrition: one must have fiber, protein, calcium, vitamins, and minerals in their diet in order to be healthy. With all these nutrients present in both kinds of diets, is one diet better than the other? You decide.
